A mutual fund pools money from multiple investors and entrusts professional fund managers to invest in various securities such as stocks, bonds, and deposits according to the investment policy stated in the prospectus. The advantage is that retail investors can access diversified investments with a relatively low minimum investment.

The minimum investment for most funds is THB 1,000. For RMF and SSF funds, the minimum is THB 500. Subsequent investments use the same minimum. This varies by individual fund, so please check the prospectus for details.

NAV (Net Asset Value) is the net value of a fund's assets per unit, calculated by taking total assets minus total liabilities, divided by total outstanding units. NAV is announced every business day, with domestic funds announced within 1 business day and international funds taking 2-3 business days.
