Investment Policy
The Fund invests in units of a foreign mutual fund (the “Master Fund”) with an investment policy focusing on equity securities. The Fund will invest, on average in an accounting year, not less than 80% of its net asset value (NAV) in units of the Master Fund. The Thai Fund will invest in units of Corgi Lithography & Semiconductor Photonics ETF (the “Master Fund”), denominated in U.S. Dollars (USD) and listed exclusively on the Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc. (“Cboe BZX”) in the United States. The Master Fund is established in the United States of America (USA), and its investment adviser is Corgi Strategies, LLC (the “Adviser”). Both the Master Fund and the Adviser are regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a regular member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The Master Fund is actively managed and invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes (if any), in companies involved in the development, application, and operation of photonics technologies and other light-based technologies, including Extreme Ultraviolet (“EUV”) Lithography technology. The portfolio manager seeks to invest in companies that are expected to benefit from growing demand for advanced semiconductors, high-speed communications, precision sensing technologies, and next-generation computing infrastructure. Such investments may include companies engaged in activities related to semiconductor fabrication and inspection utilizing photonics technologies, light sources, optical components such as lenses and mirrors, precision measurement instruments, lasers, Photonic Integrated Circuits (“PICs”), fiber-optic networking equipment, LiDAR technologies, software, control systems, and specialty materials used in photonics systems. The Fund will invest in foreign assets, resulting in a net exposure to foreign investment risk averaging not less than 80% of the Fund’s NAV during an accounting year, or such other percentage as may be prescribed by the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. For the remaining portion of the portfolio, the Fund may invest in units of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) employing an inverse management strategy solely for portfolio management purposes. The Fund may also invest, both domestically and internationally, in deposit-like instruments, deposits, debt instruments, equity securities, hybrid securities, warrants, and other securities and/or assets, or seek returns through other means, as specified in the Fund Scheme and/or as prescribed or approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission.Provide your feedback on BizChat
