Investment Policy
The Fund primarily invests in units of a foreign collective investment scheme (the “Master Fund”) with an equity-focused investment policy. The Fund will invest, on average during an accounting year, not less than 80% of its net asset value (NAV) in the Master Fund. LH Global Equity Passive Fund invests in units of iShares MSCI ACWI ETF (the “Master Fund”), which is denominated in U.S. dollars (USD) and listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market. The Master Fund is domiciled in the United States and managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA). The iShares MSCI ACWI ETF seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI All Country World Index (MSCI ACWI Index), which comprises large- and mid-capitalization equities across both developed and emerging markets worldwide. The Master Fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in the equity securities constituting the underlying benchmark index. The remaining portion, not exceeding 20% of the Fund’s assets, may be invested in: Futures contracts; Options; Certain swap agreements; Cash and cash equivalents; Shares of money market funds advised by BlackRock Fund Advisors or its affiliates; and Other securities not included in the benchmark index but which may facilitate efficient index tracking. The Master Fund aims to generate investment results that correspond, before fees and expenses, as closely as practicable to the performance of the benchmark index. The Fund may invest in derivative instruments for: Efficient Portfolio Management (EPM); and/or Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Hedging at the discretion of the Fund Manager, taking into consideration prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors. The Fund may also invest in or hold: Structured Notes containing embedded derivatives; and/or Other assets or investment instruments permitted under the Fund’s prospectus and applicable regulations approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Fund may invest in units of: Mutual Funds; Property Funds; Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs); and/or Infrastructure Funds managed by the Management Company, provided that such investments do not exceed 20% of the Fund’s net asset value (NAV). The Management Company reserves the right to alter the Fund’s structure and classification in the future, including converting the Fund into: A Fund of Funds; A fund directly investing in foreign securities and/or overseas assets; or Reverting to a Feeder Fund structure, provided that such change does not increase the Fund’s overall risk spectrum. Any such change will be undertaken at the discretion of the Fund Manager based on market conditions and with the objective of maximizing benefits for unitholders. The Management Company will provide at least 30 days’ prior notice to unitholders before implementing any change in the Fund’s structure by publishing the announcement on the Management Company’s website and the websites of distributors and/or redemption agents (if any). Master Fund: Employs a passive investment strategy designed to track the performance of the MSCI ACWI Index. LH Global Equity Passive Fund: Employs a passive management approach with the objective of closely tracking the performance of the Master Fund (Passive Management / Index Tracking). Redemption Settlement
Within five business days from the business day following the NAV calculation date, excluding foreign market holidays. (Currently, redemption proceeds are paid within T+2 business days from the redemption transaction date.) The above change will become effective from 1 March 2026 onwards.
