Job Description
1. Investment Analysis and Strategy
Develop and execute foreign investment strategies in alignment with the objectives and investment policies of the funds under management.
Analyze offshore funds and investment products, including master funds, private equity, private assets, structured notes, and other complex investment products.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on assigned offshore funds and investment products, covering investment strategies, fund structures, risk profiles, liquidity, and valuation methodologies.
Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and actively contribute to the development of strategic investment recommendations, including Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) and Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA).
2. Portfolio and Risk Management
Manage and rebalance investment portfolios in accordance with the strategies approved by the Investment Committee (IC).
Monitor portfolio performance and conduct risk analysis, with particular focus on market risk, foreign exchange risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk.
Monitor and review the valuation, mark-to-market, and Net Asset Value (NAV) of offshore assets, particularly private assets and complex structured products.
Ensure that all investment activities comply with the requirements and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC), company policies, fund prospectuses, and client mandates.
3. Investment Operations, Reporting, and Communication
Demonstrate a strong understanding of offshore investment processes and operations, including trade settlement, cash and foreign exchange management, custody, subscriptions and redemptions, capital calls, distributions, and corporate actions.
Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, custodians, brokers, master fund managers, and international counterparties to ensure that all investment activities are executed accurately and in compliance with applicable requirements.
Prepare and present investment proposals and reports to the Investment Committee, senior management, and clients.
Understand and apply relevant SEC regulations governing foreign investments, including investment limits, product structures, liquidity requirements, and valuation principles.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
