Investment Policy

The Fund has a policy to invest in units of only one foreign mutual fund (the “Master Fund”), namely the Neuberger Berman Next Generation Space Economy Fund Class I Accumulating – USD (the “Master Fund”), which is denominated in U.S. dollars (USD). The Master Fund is established under the laws of Ireland and regulated under the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) framework. It is managed by Neuberger Berman Asset Management Ireland Limited.
The LH Space Economy Fund will invest, on average over an accounting year, not less than 80% of its net asset value (NAV) in units of the Master Fund.
The Fund will invest overseas, resulting in a net exposure to foreign investments of not less than 80% of NAV on average during the accounting year, or in accordance with the proportion prescribed by the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The remaining portion of the Fund’s assets may be invested in both domestic and foreign investments, including deposits, deposit-like instruments, fixed-income securities, equities, hybrid securities, warrants, and other securities and/or assets, or through other means of generating returns as approved or prescribed by the SEC and relevant regulatory authorities.
The Fund may invest in derivatives for the purpose of hedging foreign exchange (FX) risk, at the discretion of the Fund Manager. In determining the extent of currency hedging, the Fund Manager will consider prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors, including economic, political, monetary, and fiscal developments.
If the Fund Manager anticipates that the U.S. dollar (USD) is likely to depreciate, the Fund may implement foreign exchange hedging through derivatives to a relatively significant extent. Conversely, if the USD is expected to appreciate, the Fund Manager may choose not to hedge currency risk or may hedge only a limited portion of the exposure. However, if the Fund Manager determines that hedging may not be in the best interests of unitholders or may deprive them of potential benefits, the Fund may elect not to hedge foreign exchange risk. Investors should note that hedging transactions may incur costs, which could reduce the Fund’s overall return.
In addition, the Fund may use derivatives for efficient portfolio management (EPM) and/or hedging purposes, with foreign exchange rates serving as the underlying assets. Such transactions may enhance investment returns and/or reduce Fund expenses, subject to applicable SEC regulations.
The underlying assets of derivative contracts entered into by the Fund will primarily be foreign exchange rates. Should events occur that adversely affect such contracts, or if a counterparty is unable to fulfill its contractual obligations, the Fund may not achieve its expected returns and could incur losses. Nevertheless, the Management Company will conduct ongoing analysis and monitoring of factors affecting the value of underlying assets, assess counterparties’ creditworthiness before entering into transactions, and continue monitoring thereafter. The Fund will primarily transact with counterparties whose credit ratings are classified as Investment Grade.
The Fund may also invest in or hold structured notes, below-investment-grade debt securities (Non-Investment Grade), unrated debt securities, and unlisted securities. Furthermore, the Fund may engage in securities lending transactions, reverse repurchase agreements (Reverse Repo), and other forms of securities financing transactions, as well as invest in other assets or employ alternative income-generating strategies as permitted or approved by the SEC and relevant regulatory authorities.
